Don’t be Hatin’

I’ve been told I’m a hard-head since the beginning of my stroke. If I wasn’t hard-headed, I would have never gotten to the point I am today. It started in the very beginning of my stroke when the neurologists told my husband that I would never get better. It continued in acute rehab when I was told that you can’t make progress after 6 months.

Is the negativity a result of false perceptions on young women? My gut tells me so.Young women can be STRONG and OVERCOME horrible things.
