Thanksgiving

I had my annual speech evaluation a few weeks ago. I’ll get the results on Nov 30. Of course, I’m worried about the results. The evaluation is entirely auditory. There’s no reading or writing which are my strengths. I have worked so hard preparing for this evaluation. Regardless of how it turns out,  I did all I could do. I did BrainBuilder and other software applications multiple times a week in 2016.

We’ve been preparing for Thanksgiving. Ricky is looking forward to a few days off work. As a result of my grandma’s stroke, my aunt and uncle are taking care of the cooking. I’ve dealt with so many transitions the past three years: my stroke, paternal grandma passing away, and my maternal grandma’s stroke.

Although I want my old life back, I’m thankful for how far I’ve came the past three years.
